What You’ll Learn:
- Rules of safe firearm handling and how to apply them
- Safe loading, unloading, transporting, and storing of a pistol
- Core shooting fundamentals
- Confident, safe pistol handling and operation
- Choosing the right pistol, ammo, belt, and holster
Prerequisites: Just bring an open mind and a positive attitude!
Required Equipment:
- Range-ready attire: closed-collar shirt, athletic shoes, and a cap or hat, plus weather-appropriate gear (rain jacket, coat, sunscreen, sunglasses, bug spray, etc.)
- Plenty of water—stay hydrated!
- Food—there won’t be time to grab a bite elsewhere
Optional Equipment:
- Your own pistol and ammunition (if you already have one)
- Impact-resistant safety glasses
- Electronic hearing protection
Equipment Restrictions:
- SERPA, soft nylon, and soft leather holsters are prohibited.
- All Sig Sauer P320 pistol variants are prohibited.
