It didn’t take very long for the round count on the CZ Shadow 2 to go from 1,000 to 2,000 rounds. Nevertheless, that 2,000 round mark indicates it’s time for a follow up review and there are a few things to mention.
The camera setup I use to record my shooting sports activities is relatively simple. It’s a GoPro attached to my hearing protection. It works. At least for the time being.
Admittedly, I was apprehensive about the 2023 Staccato Area 4 Championship as it was my first major USPSA match. I would have liked to have performed better, but the lessons learned will help me grow as a competitor and a handgunner.

Getting to that first match isn’t easy, but it doesn’t have to be hard. One has to find it and ensure they have sufficient safe gun handling skills and adequate gear for it. Overthinking and underestimating it happens. Regardless, it’s very doable.
