Holosun has tossed their hat in the competition pistol mountable optics ring with the 507COMP which was highly anticipated by a lot of folks. The question is, “Is the optic good enough to grab a fair share of that market?”
There is no shortage of options when it comes to rifle optics. One of those options is an open emitter red dot sight with an extra large window, a doughnut of death, and an affordable price known as the Holosun HS510C.
Primary Arms has been introducing new optics and updates to existing optics at a rapid pace. That includes the 2nd generation of the SLx MD-25 micro red dot sight which I had the opportunity to spend some delightful quality time with.
Holosun’s 507K is a solid pistol mountable dot for slimline pistols. Primary Arms’s ACSS Vulcan reticle offers some solid advantages. The combination results in a very enticing optic that is worth a deeper look.
