Sometimes it’s okay to not over analyze a match and just shoot it for fun… and I did exactly that this last match. It was exactly what I needed – a little fun at the range!
First IDPA match of 2020 was also the first match with the VP9. Some things about this match were good. Some were bad. In the end, it was one of my better matches to date.
One double feed in three matches out of ten with the same P229. Maybe it’s not just me? But I really don’t want to break up with this Sig.

The Springfield Armory XD-S is a reliable single stack micro pistol that is easy to conceal and carry. However, I find it to be difficult to comfortably shoot well in .45 ACP.
I should get a second one just so I can dual wield these like Deadpool, but alas had access to one which was reviewed at the work bench.
