My after action report of KR Training’s Defensive Pistol Skills 3 course, the third and final class that focuses on defensive pistol use at close distances, which is only a subset of skills and tactics covered by their defensive pistol program.

Shooting a pistol well is hard. Shooting a pistol one-handed well is even harder. Shooting a pistol one-handed in low light conditions while also manipulating a light system… well that’s next level stuff.

There have been a few moments along my firearm and self defense skill building journey that I would call monumental. Attending my first force on force course is one of those and here is the after action report on it.

There is a lot more to self defense than developing highly proficient shooting skills. KR Training’s Personal Tactics Skills course provides a solid introductory foundation on which to build on and become a better well rounded self defender.
